The Lions’ Strawberry Fair, a family tradition in Oceanport, is an official State of New Jersey Department of Agricultural event. The fair incorporates educational displays and programs with rides, games, attractions and delicious food, including the Lions’ famous strawberry shortcake. The fair is held in the Monmouth Park Race Track parking area in Oceanport, NJ.

One of the largest traveling petting zoos in the nation is scheduled to be present with a wonderful display of farm and exotic animals including, llamas, kangaroos, large panthers, a tropical rain forest with a reptile display. Families can enjoy feeding the farm animals and a well rounded program of live entertainment featuring performances by local bands, including area high school bands and choral groups.

The Strawberry Fair is special because the Lions donate all their proceeds to many charitable causes especially those that support individuals who suffer from sight impairments or blindness in the local area and throughout the Garden State.
